​We’re delighted to welcome Sue Spice and Dawn from Club Salsa Hull to our next Salsa for Charity night! With over 25 years of teaching experience, Sue has played a huge part in raising the profile of salsa dancing across Hull and the East Riding.

​

Club Salsa runs weekly classes including Salsa, Bachata, Kizomba and Rueda in Hull, Beverley and the surrounding area, and is also the driving force behind popular events such as the Scarborough Mini Weekender.

​

Known for her welcoming and inclusive approach, Sue brings warmth, energy and fun to every class – we can’t wait to have her leading the dance for us!

ABOUT JO BARRETT

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I'm a salsa dancer and teacher and I organise the Salsa for Charity events.  I teach salsa dancing because (a) it's FUN and (b) it does absolute WONDERS for your physical and mental wellbeing.  The beginners salsa class will run in the bar area in conjunction with the main classes.  No partner or dance experience needed.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

This month, we’re honoured to support the J.O.S.H Foundation (Josh’s Osteosarcoma Support & Help), a charity very close to our Whitley Bay dance community and meaningful to Sue as well.

​

Founded in memory of Joshua Smith, J.O.S.H provides respite holidays and holiday accommodation for children in the North East who have a life-limiting or life-threatening cancer diagnosis.

​

This cause matters to us because it speaks of care, comfort and precious moments — things we all treasure. Your generosity at this event will help J.O.S.H continue their mission to give families unforgettable time together when it matters most.
